Annoyance #8: Facebook Updates

Facebook is constantly changing. Remember this?

And now....

I guess the changes are for the better, but it becomes such a hassle to try and figure out where everything is located on Facebook all over again. Most people don't like that everything will change all the time, but Facebook is just trying to be new and improved over and over again. We should all be open-minded about these changes, and look at them with positive point of views!

Annoyance #7: Applications

Everyone gets app requests. Either its for Farmville, Mafia Wars, 21 Questions, My Top Followers, Causes, you name it, it's in your app request box waiting for a reply. They get really annoying. I've found a pretty effective solution to it, though. Block all the requests from that app, and eventually you won't receive them anymore! I rarely get one of these now. Problem solved.

Annoyance #6: Fights

I'm sure that everyone has seen an intense Facebook fight. Usually it's over some stupid thing. But if you haven't, here's a little clipping of one.

I see this stuff on Facebook all the time. Honestly, it only causes more problems. The more people that read it, the more people that think they know everything about it. More people unnecessarily get involved with it, and it just leads to even more arguments. It's just not good to post things like this on Facebook. Usually people use cuss words left and right, and it just brings out the worst in them. So, if you have a problem with someone, try to avoid posting statuses about it, or starting drama with other people on Facebook. I would suggest discussing it in person, because things can be misinterpreted over texts.

Annoyance # 5: Relationship Status

Okay, I realize that this picture is a bit excessive, and an exaggeration from my point, but thats about the best you will get from Google images. But my point is: people look at your relationship status on Facebook for reasons. People can easily be confused by "fake" relationships. You would think it's obviously not true if a teenager was "married" to someone on Facebook, but with the way society is today, you never really know. If you're single, make your status single. If you have a boyfriend or girlfriend, then put that your in a relationship. Don't give everyone details though like for example: "In a relationship and it's complicated." Then, there's being "in an open relationship". Either of the last two listed, you're basically telling everyone that your current relationship is falling apart. If that was me, I probably wouldn't want the whole world knowing about it. So, clear up the confusion, and keep your Facebook accurate.

Annoyance #4: Numbers

Things like this have to be one the the top annoyances found on Facebook. If you're not familiar with this, maybe you've seen "...Yeah, I know him. Why, whats up?"  Or maybe "Like my status and I'll tell you what I think of you."  Or "Confessions"  Or even  "Like my status and I'll rate you." It's stupid. People just want to know what other people think of them. You know they're just gonna lie to you to make you feel good, and make themselves not look like the bad guy. Not to mention, the person who actually posts one of these as their status completely blows up everyone's newsfeed with a new status post every 30 seconds.  No one else cares what you think of other people.  If you must do one of these, just message the person what you think, instead of a wall post or status. It would be very appreciated.

Annoyance #3: "Lovey Dovey"

One thing I believe everyone can agree on? This:

BARF. To the couple, this may be cute and adorable, but to everyone else seeing it, it's definately not. The girl, who made this original post, just makes herself look ridiculously clingy. As for the guy who commented after it? That just makes him look pathetic! If you choose to say all these lovey dovey things to each other, then text each other. Don't put it on Facebook. Everyone makes fun of you for it, because it's just plain gross. Your conversation just might end up being made fun of on someone's blog..

Annoyance #2: Snow Days

Everyone has a right to their own opinion.  Some people like getting multiple snow days in a row.  Some like the occaisional snow day here and there.  Others hate snow days, because they'd rather have a longer summer.  To each their own.  But, one opinion that I'm pretty sure most people share is a fake status about having no school the next day, or a 1 or 2 hour delay.  This can really confuse people.  No one likes to have their hopes set high, only to be disappointed.  No one finds things like this funny either.  So, if you're going to be "funny" about it, and post it, at least have the decency to tell others commenting that it's only a joke.  Or just don't even post it at all.  Everyone will hate you for it.

Annoyance #1: Hacking

Everyone has experienced a Facebook "hack".  Whether a friend has done it to you, or you to them.
People love finding their friends' phones, iPods, or laptops laying around unwatched.  It's the perfect time to hack away.  The more people distracting the victim, the better. The more suspects around, the less likely it is that you'll get caught in the act. Instantly, you can make the whole world of Facebook think that (insert friend's name here) is gay.

Yes, it's funny the first few times. But seriously, it gets annoying to the helpless victim who is always getting hacked. You don't know who is actually going to believe the gruesome, raunchy statements that become your status. Not only does it start to annoy the victim, but also fellow Facebook users.  No one likes to have people blowing up their newsfeed with all that.  So, to all Facebook users, be careful where you leave your wireless Internet devices with access to Facebook.  Be sure to log out of Facebook on your laptops, and lock your cellphones, and iPods.  As for the Facebook "hackers", try to contain your urge to embarrass your friend, it could just come back to bite you.
